Bags 5/5: Almost excellence in packaging tea bags. It has a beautiful light blue hatchet with a black cup, green leaves, lemon slices and a fennel plant along with the tea brand logo. It gives a short explanation of how to brew tea. The tea bag by itself has a fabric strap with a green tag at the end.
Package 5/5: It is a lovely carton box in bright blue colour with a black cup on it which contains a green brew. There is a bird and a ladybird on it. Also, we can see a slice of lemon and fennel plant along with green leaves on the box.
I so much enjoyed the cardboard texture of the box as it would be an old paper that has made this rough surface being kept for several years.
Purchased: Tesco Extra/Great Horton/Bradford/England
Manufacturer: Kallos Foods LTD.
Additional notes: The manufacturer has used paper, not foil to wrap up the tea bags, which might be not as effective in protecting aroma. Additionally, the hatchet is not as resistant to moisture.
I would like to agree that it has a zesty character. Only it is hard to distinguish whether it is lemon or lime character. It was very hard to detect fennel flavour. If it had not been mentioned in the manufacturer’s description then probably I would not have noticed it.
Here I was not too fond of that fennel flavour was so weak. I would update this recipe by adding more fennel.

Package 5/5: It is a lovely carton box in orange colour where is a black cup with orange drink in it. On the cup is written the name of the tea and there is hanging a string with a tag out of the cup. On the tag is written how many tea bags are in the box. On the tea box we can see sun, gingerroot and, I assume, black pepper leaves.

When I opened the box I could smell a strong ginger aroma.
I so much enjoyed the cardboard texture of the box as it would be an old paper that has made this rough surface being kept for several years.
It was not my favourite taste, but it deserved an award because it is so original and never experienced before.
I agree with the manufacturer 100% that it has amazing and burning ginger with undertones of turmeric and an unexpected twist of black pepper that makes your tongue sting.
Also, it could be a great morning tea for waking up.
Besides, it can be a great winter tea to heal cold and fever.

I found that tea has spearmint and it made me do a little bit of research to understand it. An online search engine says that spearmint contains a compound called carvone, which gives it a subtle and sweet flavour. Unfortunately, I can agree partly with the manufacturer there was no hint of the refreshing character of lemon balm (in my understanding). On the other, it is a delicately fragrant infusion that balances the delicious floral taste of chamomile and lavender.
After opening the box I can feel a strong lavender aroma.
I tried the tea with 200ml hot water as my experience shows that acceding water over 200ml reduces the quality of enjoyment of the drinking.
I could not detect lemon balm, but I really enjoyed that unusual lavender aftertaste and my conclusion was, if you want the same taste tea with the same effect you should not buy necessary this tea. Buy unbranded chamomile tea and you will save a lot of money.
I so much enjoyed the cardboard texture of the box as it would be an old paper that has made this rough surface being kept for several years.

It was a lovely brew, calming and relaxing in general, but downside was that there was not anything outstanding about taste compared with non-branded chamomile teas. So I would not recommend to buy it and save money by buying non-branded teas.

Additional notes: I found it unusual that I did not have dryness in the aftertaste, which probably resulted from removing caffeine from the tea. Also, I enjoyed those lovely flour notes in flavour that seem specifically notable in the Clipper Organic tea set.
This tea was tried at the University of Nottingham, which is why I could not gather more information. Tea was served in single bags.
The aroma was very weak and pale, leading me to think that it would be an ordinary tea, but when I tasted the tea, it was stunning with lovely liquorice, ginger and lemon flavour, lovely mixing together.

Additional notes: I was disappointed about the outcome of the flavour as I expected it to be as tasty as Taylors of Harrogate – organic peppermint herbal infusion. This tea reminded me of cheap non-branded peppermint brews, concluding that there was nothing remarkable regarding flavour apart from light and pleasant flour undertones.
I would like to agree that it was light tea, but not crisp.
