3/5
Smell 5/5:. It has a powerful, bitter aroma that’s anything but shy.
Flavour 3/5: This tea definitely leans towards the bitter side. Interestingly, there’s a subtle malty note that only shows up once the tea cools down a bit—though it’s so faint that you really have to pay attention to notice it. On the downside, it left my mouth feeling a bit dry and uncomfortable, which wasn’t the most pleasant sensation.
Colour 5/5: It has a rich amber and dark brown colour.

Smell 3/5: It has a strong, bitter aroma that wakes up your senses and doesn’t hold back.
Flavour 4/5: This tea brings a gentle bitterness that’s easy on the palate—no harsh or overwhelming notes here. While you might expect a hint of bergamot, it’s definitely not part of the flavour profile, so don’t go hunting for that classic citrus twist. What really sticks with you, though, is the lingering bitterness that stays around after each sip, giving the aftertaste a kind of quiet persistence.

Final Thoughts: This tea fits perfectly into a vegetarian or vegan lifestyle. It’s made up of 95% black tea leaves, with just a touch of natural bergamot—about 3.5%—to give it a subtle citrus twist.
Now, I was hoping the bergamot would pop a bit more, but honestly, it leans more toward a traditional black tea vibe. It’s not flashy or bold, but rather gentle and straightforward, making it a nice choice for those who prefer their tea uncomplicated.
While it might not have snagged any fancy Tea House awards, it’s still a decent cup to enjoy when you want something familiar with just a hint of something extra.

Final Thoughts: It’s not the kind of brew that feels rich or creamy; instead, it hits you with a robust, bold flavour right off the bat. That bitterness isn’t subtle either—it’s the kind that makes your face scrunch up a bit, so it’s definitely an acquired taste.
But here’s the twist: after that initial bitterness fades, there’s a gentle, almost surprising touch of soft sweetness that lingers in the aftertaste. It’s a little unexpected and kind of nice, giving the whole experience a bit of balance.

Final Thoughts: The tea bags themselves are beautiful. That said, don’t expect it to feel super upscale—each bag comes loose without individual foil wrapping, so it’s more about simplicity than luxury. On the bright side, it’s totally vegan and vegetarian-friendly, making it an easy choice for anyone keeping an eye on their diet.
This tea definitely lives up to its label in terms of flavour—what you see is what you get. It’s a straightforward, no-frills brew that’s exactly what you’d expect from a standard tea bag. The packaging is actually pretty appealing and gives off a fresh, inviting vibe, which is probably the highlight here. However, when it comes to the taste, it didn’t really stand out for me; it’s just your average cup of tea without any memorable twists or unique notes. If you’re looking for something simple and reliable, it does the job, but if you want something with a bit more character, you might want to explore other options.

Final Thoughts: The manufacturer's representation of tea bags was nearly perfect, but it would be even more accurate if they used foil sachets.
Since I had only seen green tea combined with peppermint, lemon, or other ingredients, I thought this combination of green tea and berries was unique. The flavours of vanilla and red berries overlapped with the potent and overpowering presence of green tea. It reminded me of British IPA without alcohol.
I couldn't give it less than four stars, even though it wasn't my favourite tea.
It's interesting to note that I could also sense the presence of bright red berries when I didn't stir the tea before drinking.
The manufacturer reached almost an excellence in representing tea bags, but if they would use foil sachets that would be a spot-on representation.
I found this combination original – green tea with berries, because I had seen only that green tea, is mixed with peppermint and lemon or other ingredients.
The strong and exaggerated presence of green tea overlapped the flavours of red berries and vanilla.
It reminded me of a non-alcoholic version of British IPA. Regardless, it was not my favourite tea, but I could not give it lower than 4 marks.
Interestingly, when I did not stir tea before drinking, I could feel vividly red berries presence as well. I found it quite tricky making me wonder should I always never strir tea before drinking if I want to find at least the most of the flavours in it.

Final Thougts: I recently grabbed this plum and cinnamon chai latte, hoping for something a bit different, but it honestly reminded me a lot of the Ranong Authentic Thai Tea Mix. The sweetness level was through the roof, making it tough to actually enjoy drinking it as-is. The prep instructions are spot on, but I found that upping the water to about 200ml really helped tone down the syrupy sweetness and made it easier to sip.
If I hadn’t known it was a chai latte with plum and cinnamon, I might’ve sworn it was just another take on Thai tea. That said, I was a bit disappointed after trying it at home, especially since I was pretty excited when I first saw it on the shelf. For anyone on the fence, I’d suggest going for a masala chai instead—it’s got a more natural spice profile and lets you control the sweetness better by adding sugar if you want.
Despite my picky taste buds, I have to give props for the packaging. The metal tin is sleek and definitely shows the brand put some thought into how the product is presented. So, while the flavor didn’t quite hit the mark for me, the overall vibe of the product still felt pretty cool.

Final Thoughts: Opening the pastic pouch, the first thing that I felt was the incredible aroma—sweet and fruity, kind of like blackberries dancing in the air. It’s a scent that definitely grabs your attention and makes you curious to take that first sip. Once you do, you’ll notice the sour tang takes centre stage, which might not be everyone’s cup of tea. The sharpness can be a bit much if you’re expecting something smooth or mellow.
One thing to keep in mind, though, is that this tea contains hibiscus. While the packaging doesn’t really highlight this, it’s good to know because hibiscus can have an effect on your blood pressure. If you’re someone who already has low blood pressure, it’s probably wise to enjoy this tea in moderation or check with your doctor before making it a regular part of your routine.
