TEA HOUSE AWARD - The Tastiest Tea of The Month
5/5
Smell 5/5: It’s got this soft, floral aroma of camomile flower.
Flavour 5/5: This tea greeted my senses with a gentle iron-rich twist, followed by a smooth, lingering camomile finish that feels like a soft hug for your taste buds. It’s not just about the camomile—there’s this subtle floral sweetness and a hint of pollen that sneak in, adding a delicate complexity without ever overwhelming you.

Final Thoughts: This tea offers a gentle, soothing experience that’s perfect for those moments when you just want to unwind. What really caught my attention was the subtle floral and pollen notes that sneak in a few minutes after you sip—it’s such a delicate surprise that adds a nice touch to the whole brew. The overall vibe is calming and light, making it easy to enjoy without anything overpowering your palate.
On the downside, the packaging left me a bit disappointed. The tea bags were just loosely packed in the box, and there wasn’t even a plastic wrap to keep them fresh or protect them from moisture. It felt like a missed opportunity to preserve the tea's quality and freshness.
Still, once you get past that, the tea itself is definitely worth a try if you’re into mellow, understated flavours.

Final Thoughts: So, I gave this tea a try even though it’s not exactly my favourite kind. One thing that stood out was this subtle, almost soothing sound when you brew it—turns out it’s probably from the malt in there, which was kind of a nice touch. On the flip side, the taste left me with a bit of a dry feeling that stuck around longer than I’d like, making me wonder if they didn’t fully remove the caffeine as promised.
Price-wise, it’s on par with Knightsbridge Decaf, but honestly, the way this tea is presented feels a bit sloppy in comparison. If you’re looking for a decaf black tea, I’d lean toward Knightsbridge—they seem to put more thought into their product. That said, if you want a caffeine-free option that closely mimics traditional black tea, this one does the job. I couldn’t really tell much difference myself.
One thing I definitely can’t overlook is the packaging—it’s pretty lacklustre and honestly drags down the whole experience. I’d give it maybe 2 out of 5 for design. Oh, and it’s a bit odd that the manufacturer doesn’t even say what kind of black tea is used, which feels like a missed opportunity to build trust or interest. Overall, not bad as a substitute, but some improvements would definitely help.

However, I couldn’t detect much sweetness or the spearmint flavour in the brew. Overall, though, it’s a well-crafted tea.

Final Thoughts: Opening the box, I was immediately greeted by the fresh, soothing scents of Aloe Vera and cucumber—a combo I hadn’t really encountered before in tea. Honestly, the idea of cucumber as a tea ingredient caught me off guard in the best way possible. It’s such a refreshing twist that makes this blend stand out from the usual offerings. The cucumber notes aren’t subtle either; they shine through beautifully, perfectly balanced with the calming Aloe Vera.
This tea feels like a thoughtful creation, like the maker really nailed the recipe. I’m genuinely impressed with how this blend brings something new to the table and sets a high bar right from the start.
