Final Thoughts: So, I gave this tea a try even though it’s not exactly my favourite kind. One thing that stood out was this subtle, almost soothing sound when you brew it—turns out it’s probably from the malt in there, which was kind of a nice touch. On the flip side, the taste left me with a bit of a dry feeling that stuck around longer than I’d like, making me wonder if they didn’t fully remove the caffeine as promised.

Price-wise, it’s on par with Knightsbridge Decaf, but honestly, the way this tea is presented feels a bit sloppy in comparison. If you’re looking for a decaf black tea, I’d lean toward Knightsbridge—they seem to put more thought into their product. That said, if you want a caffeine-free option that closely mimics traditional black tea, this one does the job. I couldn’t really tell much difference myself.

One thing I definitely can’t overlook is the packaging—it’s pretty lacklustre and honestly drags down the whole experience. I’d give it maybe 2 out of 5 for design. Its flavour is wonderfully floral, with a tender sweetness that lingers pleasantly.

I really enjoyed this tea; it’s calming and relaxing. While it may not be distinctly refreshing, it is definitely delicious. I imagine it makes a perfect companion for winding down before sleep, enjoying a good book, or sharing moments with friends.

 In fact, I wouldn’t describe the flavour itself as woody; the floral notes might carry some subtle characteristics reminiscent of that woody aroma, adding to its unique charm.
