Blue mind

***

When the moon is out there,

 I’m there,

 Walking the moon up there,

 Where

I see the earth down there,

 I don’t want to return

  Back there,

 It's too much for me

 To bare,

 Seeing thriving meadows

 Nowhere.

This poem is coming from my novel ‘A Letter To Heaven’, chapter 9.

I read this poem on Rhubarb Poetry evening at Triangle Pub in Shipley Bradford on 28/02/24, England

There is emptiness

In this shell

I confess,

No light or breath,

Here is only a mess,

Just moans hollow

And painful cries

Me tend to follow

In this place

Which disasters face.

I live a life

 I don’t want to see,

 This is an illusion,

 A plain mirage,

 I cut my cords

 Running short,

 My life is worth nothing,

 Made of black ashes,

 Vaping clouds,

 Fading sounds.

I reached November

In the middle of summer,

 My leaves faded

 In yellow and brown,

 Late autumn storms

 Came early

 Stripping off me

Naked,

 My bare body

 Freezes in ice-cold rain,

 My heart still blossoms

But December comes

It doesn’t knock

 On my door

It takes my heart

And cracks it.

This cell-phone

 My dear

 Is nothing more than,

 Just a jewellery plain

 To show off

 Myself

 In public,

 I appear.

All I have

Are poems sorrow,

 My home -

Grey tarmac road,

 Covered by endless

Universe in blue.

 I don’t know,

 When,

 I’ll find my way,

Home.

This poem was quoted at The Triangle bar/Shipley/Bradford at 'Rhubarb' poetry evening (29/11/23)

His mouth

 Was full

  Of white fishbones,

 Sharp and rough,

 When he spoke out,

 They spiked my heart.

 It healed

 Leaving timeless marks

 In itself.

Flowers fall,

Cut by the hand

 Of wind from the North,

 They don’t know

  The word hatred means

 Sharing beauty

 With their enemy,

 As long

 As they breathe.

This poem is coming from my novel ‘A Letter To Heaven’, chapter 12.

There is nothing I see

Then shadows of ghosts

In a contaminated  sea

With rotten posts.

The sun leaks blood

Early winter evenings

Raising dark mood

And poisoned feelings.

Black ink has stained

Velvet of white

Putting the end

On joyful life.

This poem comes from my book ‘A Letter to Heaven. Chapter 14.

You are pill universal

In the glass of silver,

There is no reversal

When you pain enter.

You do me a favour

Setting me free forever.

You have no flavour

Requesting for no water.

This poem was quoted at Josefs K café/Bradford at Beehive poetry evening on 23/11/23

My heart needs

 Just simply love,

 Without it

 It feels imprisoned

 In a burning iron cage,

 Left for the sun

 To eat it out.

They rode my heart

 To the end.

 And damped me

 In a trench,

 Leaving me

 For somebody

 To love me

 The way

 I am now.

My breath

 Is so expensive

  I can afford it

 Barely.

 It’s easier

 To give up,

 Nevertheless,

 I crawl

 On my bleeding knees,

 Once more feel it.

Tree branches

 Grow into me,

 Forming me

The way

 I don’t want

 To be.

This is a poem from my novel ‘A Letter To Heaven’, Chapter 18.

We don’t want to lose

That we used to belong,

But everything goes loose

And we cannot go along.

Nothing can be kept

When comes that day,

Everything is swept

And in peace, we lay.

We are free and pure

To get up and fly away

There is no better cure

When we reach that day.
